On August 7th, Austin and I flew to Dallas to visit Aunt Putt and Uncle JP. The flight was so much fun!! Austin did great... the flight attendants LOVED him so much that he got to help make the announcements! After sipping some juice during take-off he fell asleep. He didn't experiance any problems with his ears not equalizing...thank goodness!
Chrissie picked us up at the airport and we drove back to Granbury...after we took a small detour to go buy some delicious grub at Central Market! The HEAT was on in the Dallas area!! Holy Moly!! Austin had to wear his sunglasses and sip water frequently!
The funnest part of the whole trip was going with Chrissie to see Doctor Tabor for her check-up! It was amazing getting to see Baby Braylin Jae on the sonogram machine! She is PERFECT and HEALTHY and I am SOOOO proud to say that I got to feel her kick me through her mommy's tummy! AUST CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HIS BABY GIRL CUZ!!
During the day Chrissie had to work, so one afternoon Marla Moo took us for a swim at a local pool. It was alot of fun! Austin seems to love the water, and his little (or big) legs kick real hard!! I think he will be a natural swimmer!
Austin had many "firsts" this weekend... I wasn't able to capture all of them on camera, but here is a low-down on a couple:
*First time to fly
*First time to eat bananas
*First parking garage in the BIG CITY
*First time a public swimming pool
*First time to get licked by a puppy dog (Fibi..who doesn't believe she is a D-O-G..shhh)
*First time to have lunch at Uncle Julios with people eating lunch (he had cereal and prunes)
*First time to go to Church!! It was awesome!!
I know I'm leaving A LOT out (sorry Chrissie..help me rememeber) but that's a few. The pictures probably won't be in order... so you'll just have to take them in stride.
I am soooo blessed to have such an amazing sister! I am so excited to become an Aunt to a beautiful baby GIRL named Braylin Jae!!! I LOVED our time together. Austin and I had a wonderful week full of many adventures...and I can't wait to go back.
