Stepping Into Life

Austin will celebrate his first year of life tomorrow. Wow. As I type that statement, I can’t deny that a tear and smile came across my face. Explanation:

 No matter what decisions I chose, things I regret, blissful memories I made, challenges I have faced, life-changes I have embraced, thrills I took, goals I accomplished, happiness that overtook me, realizations in the world that disappointed me, people/friends that have I loved, kept, and lost along the way, and learning how to love eternally……there’s one thing that will ALWAYS and forever top the list of “whatever” you could list…. and that alone is giving birth to a boy named Mark Austin Vasquez.

God has blessed Mark and I with this precious gift. Austin has given us purpose, fulfillment, and brought back the simple satisfactions in life. Nobody could have prepared me for this kind of love….a love that amazingly continues to grow and grow and grow and grow and GROW everyday!!    

BE MINE!

Today is Austin's very first Valentine's Day (outside the womb)!! This day of love brought him plenty of chocolates, candies, stuffed animales, and LOVE !!! He thinks it's great.... and his sticky hands are leaving there sign of love everywhere in our house!!

I thought it might be funny to share the pictures of how Mark and I spent our Valentines day last year!! I was sooooo ready to pop... and in NO WAY felt romantic/sexy for my Valentine!! We shared a heart shaped pizza, and I can assure you baby Aust got his chocolates through the placenta!! :) haha...

WINTER WEATHER!

 11 Months and counting...it's getting harder to take these monthly pictures... as you can see, the paper turned into a tasty snack!
