A day in the life....

Some funny randoms that I would like to share.....

 My happy boy!

 Well..this is my ghetto crib. Hey.. you have to get creative sometimes!!!

 I leave them alone for 5 minutes... (yes... those are sock puppies)

REAL FUNNY!

9 month check-up.

Today Aust had to visit Dr. Desai for his 9 month check-up. The doctor said he was right on track with development, and once again "he's just a big boy!" He only had to get one shot (flu), and he did NOT even cry. It was over before he even knew what happened! He will get the second dose of the flu shot in one month, and go back for another check-up at 12 months to receive the immunization shots. So for now:

*24.5 lbs (90th percentile)
*Eating table foods that are mashed... everything but dairy until 1 year.
*No teeth
*Is officially on formula and having no problem so far.
*crawling and pulling up
*sleeping through the night...for the most part. :)
*takes 2 naps a day, lasting about 45 minutes to an hour at each.

First Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Austin had a wonderful first Thankgiving! We were able to see most of our family for the Holidays... Andrews (Barnes,Vasquez, and Lujan clan)... then drove to Santo, Tx to stay with my Nanny and Geno. There we ate again, and went to the NICU to see baby Braylin. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. (They are in no particular order)

Visit to Granbury!

Chrissie had her baby-shower on the 13th, so Aust and I loaded up and made the drive all by ourselves! He did great on the road...slept most of the way! Chrissie shower was awesome! She was showered with some great starter tools for that precious baby girl, Braylin Jae! (for updates visit http://www.chrissieandjp.blogspot.com/) Here's a few pictures from the weekend-

 MY SISTER IS A MILK FACTORY!!! She has to pump every 3 hours...so she has built up plenty of yummy breastmilk for Miss Braylin. :) I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened this freezer.....that is def. something to be VERY proud of!!!!!!!!

 Well... since Aust get's a formula bottle now during the afternoon... and Aunt Putt has plenty of milk...and little room left to store it... Aust got to enjoy a nice little meal Chrissie prepared!!! Hahahaha. "WE'RE SISTERS..WE SHARE ALOT...."

And ofcourse, Aunt Linds and cousin Can Man were also there. Even though Cannon doesn't have much time for Aust at this age... it's still great to force a picture every now and then. They will enjoy it later! :)

As we creep up to the 9 month marker.... Austin's "creeping"  is becoming more like an official crawl everyday! He has discovered that he has another gear besides reverse... so he can move forward instead of scoot backwards. Although I am so very happy for my little Dinker, it has become more and more challenging for me to do much of anything without having to worry about him *knocking down picture frames, *pulling up the rug,* pinching his fingers in my glider-chair*...ect..ect... SOOOOO... I found a little way to contain him for a short while until I get back to having his 100% undivided attention. Enjoy-

If you listen and watch very close.. you'll see Aust scooting across the floor.. then stop to toot/poop. Whatever works I guess. HAHAHAAAAA!!! THAT'S MY BOY!! :)
