4 month check-up

It's that time again...:( Time for another round of shots. One shot in each leg and a liquid he could swallow. He did alright- just a couple sad screams and it was over.

He weighed 18 lbs 14 ounces and was 26 inches in length. Dr. Desai said he was very healthy and he getting closer to being on the charts (normal percentile). She said he was slim up after we started canned foods at 6 months...and for now we remain on breast-milk, water a few times a day, and CEREAL!! HOORAY!! Overall it was a great check-up.

Morning Chat

Here's a little taste of how Dink (Aust) begins his day. We wake up...he eats his breakfast... get out of our bed... go to HIS bed... and talk for awhile before changing his diiiiiiiiirty diaper! It's REAL fun to watch- I love my mornings.

Father's Day

Mark's very first Father's Day happened this Sunday! What a proud day... to be the father of such an amazing little boy!! It's hard to believe Aust has been with us for almost 4 whole months!! Sunday evening we were visited by the Vasquez crew.... Nini, Papa, and both Uncles.. Robbie and Michael!! What a great ending to a wonderful week/ weekend filled with visits from our amazing families... we are blessed.

Fun with Family

This past week has been filled with lots of family time!! We had a cousin on the Chastain side get married so great-grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles...Nonnye's and such got the see Baby Aust! Aunt Putt came from Granbury and spent 4 whole days with us!! It was LOTS AND LOTS of fun... very sad to have to say good-bye. It was an amazing weekend though- :)
