10 month update (better late than never)

I am a little late updating Austin's 10 month birthday. (December 25 was the actual marker...) Here are some stats on his development:

*Formula only
*Eating pretty much ANYTHING(exept for diary products, that comes on his one year birthday)!! He isn't picky at all... I just put his food in a blender and down it goes.
*He has 2 bottom teeth
*crawling everywhere... pulling up on everything....will take steps while his holding on to your hands.
*Sleeping in his own crib for the most part.
*2 naps a day, about 45 minutes to an hour each.
*I am guessing he's about 26 lbs. he goes back to the doc for his check-up at a year.

First Christmas

Austin's FIRST Christmas was so much fun! Santa brought him lots of presents.... and our house now looks like Austin's Playland!! :)

We spent the Holidays in Andrews with ALL the family. I wasn't able to take alot of pictures because Aust needed my assistance, but here's a few I was able to get.

Aust and his December.

Went to see his first hocky game! He had a blast..even though it was way past his bed-time. He didn't cry or fuss one time. Just sat back and enjoyed the entertainment! It was good fun!

Aust took his afternoon nap..and I could hear him waking up. I looked around the corner, and much to my suprise, he was looking back at me!!!

Nonnye comes to visit :)

Aust can pull himself up on many things these days.. including you! He gets really proud of himself.

Pulling up on the kitchen chairs...and biting it. His bottom tooth in now coming through. You can see it... :)

OOPS! He opened ONE present early...and tried to eat the paper.

yep... caught him eating the bows. This is a neverending battle. LOVE LOVE LOVE

A day in the life....

Some funny randoms that I would like to share.....

My happy boy!

Well..this is my ghetto crib. Hey.. you have to get creative sometimes!!!

Auuuuuuuuust !?! What are you doing ?!?!

Hum... hoooooooooooooooow strange!

Laundry time... everyone has to pull their share around this house!

I leave them alone for 5 minutes... (yes... those are sock puppies)

REAL FUNNY!

9 month check-up.

Today Aust had to visit Dr. Desai for his 9 month check-up. The doctor said he was right on track with development, and once again "he's just a big boy!" He only had to get one shot (flu), and he did NOT even cry. It was over before he even knew what happened! He will get the second dose of the flu shot in one month, and go back for another check-up at 12 months to receive the immunization shots. So for now:

*24.5 lbs (90th percentile)
*Eating table foods that are mashed... everything but dairy until 1 year.
*No teeth
*Is officially on formula and having no problem so far.
*crawling and pulling up
*sleeping through the night...for the most part. :)
*takes 2 naps a day, lasting about 45 minutes to an hour at each.

First Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Austin had a wonderful first Thankgiving! We were able to see most of our family for the Holidays... Andrews (Barnes,Vasquez, and Lujan clan)... then drove to Santo, Tx to stay with my Nanny and Geno. There we ate again, and went to the NICU to see baby Braylin. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. (They are in no particular order)
